Most of mine are borderline horrifying. I dreamt last night that my brother was going to blow us all up with a lunchbox filled with explosives. Fun Scary fact: It’s actually probable. D:

It seems the army is siding with the protesters.
Here’s Ian Black on why what Mubarak did…
NYC sets January snowfall record (grumble grumble)
shortformblog:
36” number of inches of snow that has fallen in Central Park this month – a January record, by the way
27.4” the previous record, set all the way back in 1925 (!); good work, Mother Nature, you hag you source

I swear I never know what to say here (or anywhere, for that matter.) But hi, I’m alive. AND I THINK I HAVE SOME SCHOOL FIGURED OUT. :DDDD I’m probably going to Erie Community College for a little while to get an associate’s degree or a bunch of college credit, which is transferable to anywhere ever and, if I go the credit route, worth roughly two years of a traditional...

Can you vote for me on totalfilm.com? I was nominated for "Best Creative Blog" and I'm running against the likes of Joseph Gordon Levitt and John August (writer of Big Fish).
I don't stand a chance without people voting for me, so please help me out. It takes one second. No account sign up. Just a couple of clicks.

Words to Live By #2
“Those who have ears should listen.” Blahblahblah, obvious statement is obvious.
Words to Live By #1
“So don’t worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” I think I’m going to do this whenever something I read/hear gives me one of those “THIS IS SO HORRIFICALLY TRUE” moments.
Day 04 - Your Views on Religion.
I think I kind of wanted to re-do this post, as my views have since changed. I’m not entirely sure which faith I am - I think I fall between Deism and potential Christianity - but I do know I’m learning more about both. We’ll see how things play out. I just know I had some kind of pull, and urge of sorts, to read up.
Note to self (and everyone else)
I’m watching Rent upon my sister’s request, and I have to say: This movie would be so much better if I knew what on Earth was going on. Three words: TOO. MUCH. SINGING.
Day 30 - Your highs and lows of this month.
Highs: I hate to sound emo, but…not many. Lows: Multiple problems with my relationship. New York state fucked me over in terms of school stuff…a few times. Family problems. Typical health problems. BIG diet change (as in, I can’t eat anything with a lot of fat, anything spicy - which is basically my life - etc. Stupid acid reflux.) Computer problems. And many more. Well,...
Day 29 - Goals for the next 30 days.
- Figure out school. - Figure out job. - Figure out relationship. - Figure out life.
Day 28 - Something that you miss.
Summers at my grandmother’s. She passed away September 11, 2009, a month after a car accident. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think about her, and really, I still wonder if she could’ve pulled through if the hospital (that was supposed to be caring properly for her, but didn’t quite) had been a bit more attentive and had noticed what was going on before...
Day 27 - A problem that you have had.
I hate to sound like every other teenaged girl ever, but lately my “problem” is my boyfriend. I won’t go too much into detail, but lately things have just been…bleh. And if this is how things are going to get only 11 months in, I cannot begin to think how a whole lifetime would end up. I really don’t want to say this, but I’m not sure I want to do this...
(3 days late :P) Day 26: What kind of person...
I’m not really nit-picky, but these are a must:
- Honesty. This one should be pretty self-explanatory. If you’re going to lie to me, don’t expect me to want to pursue you in any way.
- Intelligence. Okay, so you don’t need to be a genius - but you can’t have an IQ of 5, either. I hate to sound like I’m better than them, but people who are dumb without any...
I've been meaning to do this...
…But I don’t really stay on top of things, so I didn’t do it as it happened. Thank you, all 10 11 of you, for following me/following me back. I appreciate it.
Day 25 - Someone who fascinates you and why.
I hate to sound like I’m some kind of awesome person, but I’d say I tend to fascinate myself. I’m still in a little bit of that phase of self-discovery, I think, so I’d love to step outside of myself and see how, from an outer perspective, I would see myself. People always note how smart or funny or weird I am, but I can honestly say I don’t find myself above average...
Day 24 - Your favorite movie and what it’s about. ...
Honestly? I can’t say I have a favourite movie - I was particularly fond of movies like 2 Days in Paris and Hard Candy, and even Wristcutters: A Love Story, but I can’t say any of those three are my favourites. But hell, I’ll go with the best of the three -
2 Days in Paris is not what it seems to be at first - boy is dating girl, girl wants boy to meet parents, hilarity...
Day 23 - Give pictures of 5 guys who are famous...
Oh-ho-ho, this one should be fun. In no particular order:
Niall Matter (Eureka, The Best Years, Watchmen): Michael Cera (Superbad, Scott Pilgrim, Juno):
2010 Leonardo DiCaprio (yeah, I didn’t find him all that attractive when he was young):
Anthony Green (Audience of One, Circa Survive, Saosin, other bands):
And lastly, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception, (500) Days of Summer) I...
